Photo Competition Terms & Conditions
Please note that photographs of people are categorised as sensitive personal information under UK Data Protection law and the Data Protection Act (1998) exists to protect people's personal rights.
When taking photographs that feature specific people you must have their permission to do so. This does not apply if you are taking photographs of groups that do not focus on any specific person.
If taking photographs which specifically feature children and young people under 18, or vulnerable adults, you must ask their parents or guardians to sign a Parental Consent Form . You can obtain a Parental Consent Form from our website. Download a Parental Consent Form Here
The Competition judges reserve the right to withdraw photographs from the Competition if they consider them to be sensitive.
:By submitting your images to the Lardi Dar Photo Competition, you agree to the these conditions.
Participant's names and details will not be shown in conjunction with their photographs.
The winners Name and area from where they are from will be shown on the website but not in conjunction with their photograph.
All entries must be correctly labelled with your name and contact details.
While we endeavour to publish as many photo competition entries as possible on our website, we cannot guarantee that all will make the online gallery pages.
Photographs should be submitted as .jpegs and should not exceed 2500000b
While the photographer retains the copyright of all images submitted as competition entries,
Lardi Dar reserve the right to unlimited use of the photos for company promotion and advertising.
All entries must meet the entry requirements and be suitable for viewing by people of all ages. All entries will be moderated for suitable content before being entered into the competition (ie before being uploaded for viewing).
Lardi Dar reserves the right to reject any entry from the competition. Rejected entries will not appear in the online gallery.
By entering this competition, you agree that you have the written consent of any people who are clearly identifiable in your photo/s - this means they understand that Lardi Dar can publish their image.

If you don't have the written consent of people identifiable in your photo/s, we can't consider your photo/s for the competition.
By participating in the contest, you agree to be bound by these official rules, including all eligibility requirements. You also accept that all decisions of Lardi Dar are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest. Entries that do not comply with the instructions provided will be rejected.
